I can do it myself: Innovative strategies to increase the independence of individuals with Autism

To celebrate World Autism Awareness Day (April 2, 2021), the OCSB will be hosting a virtual presentation on Thursday, April 22, 2021  from 6:30pm - 8pm.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Bridget Taylor

With the advance of behaviorally based instruction, children with autism can learn many skills never thought possible.  Children with autism can learn to talk, play with toys, socialize with their peers and become active participants in their families and communities.  The goal of any intervention program, however, is to help individuals with autism perform these responses without supervision and direct prompts from adults. This presentation will review innovative strategies to achieve independence across a range of skill areas and across multiple environments.

Register for the session via Google Form.  If you are unable to attend live, the recorded session will be made available via YouTube.
