People for Education
People for Education is a group of parents working to preserve fully publicly-funded education in Ontario. The group began in 1996, as part of the parent association at a downtown Toronto school and has since grown to become a provincial organization. It is now a registered charity, and is in the process of expanding to other provinces in Canada.
At the People for Education website, parents can find research and clear accessible information on the educational issues facing Ontario parents and students today.
Parent Tip Sheets are available on a variety of topic such as EQAO, Parent-Teacher Interviews, and Choosing High School Courses. These are available in several languages.
